Britain's Laura Robson produced a battling performance in the second round of Australian Open qualifying before losing to Michaella Krajicek.
The 15-year-old, given a wildcard into the event, went down 6-4 7-6 (9-7) to the former world number 30 in two hours and five minutes.
Robson, the world number 406, will compete in the junior event at Melbourne Park.
